UNITED ARAB REPUBLIC
The United Arab Republic (UAR) was created in February 1958, by Egypt and Syria (in the Middle East). It dissolved in 1961.
(Later, in 1972, Egypt and Syria joined with Libya to form the Federation of Arab Republics.)
