UNREPRESENTED NATIONS
AND PEOPLES ORGANISATION

UNPO was created in February 1991.

Four African peoples/polities are currently members:

  1. Zanzibar (region, Tanzania) since August 1991
  2. Batwa (people, Rwanda) since January 1993
  3. Ogoni (people, Nigeria) since January 1993
  4. Cabinda (region, Angola) since April 1997
